What could be the problem with this watch?

Just bought this today from my local Apple store - brand new.

Been on charger for 10-15 minutes, and still see this when I press power button.

Can take up to an hour on the charger if it was fully drained for a longer period

Thanks - yall were right. It just needed to charge longer. I’ve never had an item that dead out of the box directly from Apple. I’m guessing black 41mm with black sports band isn’t a common choice, but it’s what my daughter wanted (mainly because they didn’t have a lot of band options at my Apple store). ;-p

I had that situation once when Apple exchanged my S5 Ceramic, took almost an hour until it came to life

Had the same issue with my new series 7 in red. I left it on the charger for a full half an hour before it finally turned on but when it turned on it was at like 25-30% of the battery.
