what could be the problem ?

Hi everyone. I try to install OS X 10.3 on mi old PowerBook g4 ti, but installation say : “you cannot install mac os x on this volume. an early version of mac os x is not installed 10.3”

You have an upgrade disk, not a full installer.

You'll either need to install an earlier version and then use this upgrade disk or find a full installer.
