currently a lot of people are very very unhappy with what Rogers/Fido is offering in Canada. so we will have to get the iPhone 3G elsewhere. what country will sell no contract iPhone 3G? and how does Apple locked the iPhone? will i able to just use the iPhone 3G that i buy from other country without any hacking? thanks

The UK.

Prices were released on the O2 web site and then withdrawn so they may not be the price next week, they were as follows:

8GB=£299.99 16GB=£359.99

They are likely to be locked to O2 even though they are not contract, you will probably have to unlock it yourself.
