What DAC does the studio have?

I have a pair of AudioEngine A2+ which have a built in dac.

I’m curious what’s built into the studio?

I’m also wondering if I should go external later in, which would result in best performance.

But right now, what’s in the studio?

Are you using 3.5mm analog output or USB digital ?

Do you need SPDIF digital ?

For the Mac Studio, I use the iFi Zen DAC 2 (USB 3.0) with my powered speakers and headset that works perfectly.
