New user coming from Fitbit....

The fact the the watch diverts phones notifications and associated sound is driving me crazy. It might work great in a quiet environment but I am outside most of the time.

I am constantly missing texts and calls.

The only work around is disabling Wrist Detection. The watch warns against doing this. Says you loos the ability to use Apple Pay (I don’t use) and some data collected might not be as accurate.

The data is what I love most! I don’t want to disable the main reason for me using the watch

You can control what notifications come over to the watch instead of the phone. If you’d rather have then on the phone, turn them off on the watch.

But the phone still won’t make a notification sound will it?

Wow! That worked!

I went I to Notifications and changed it from mirror iPhone to do not notify.
