I would say Friday, September 18 preorder, Friday, September 25th on sale in-store.

The average of the past few events was 3 days later, though that would end up being a Saturday. So it could be the 11th (Friday)? I hope it's the 18th though!

I'm sure it's going to be the 11th. Apple would want to get the new phones shipped as soon as possible after announcement since any customers will hold off buying until then.

Pre-order have typically been the same week as the announcement. I'll say this Friday the 11th.

My guess is 9/11 for preorder, 9/16 for iOS 9, and 9/18 for release date.
