I've had 15" MacBook Pros as my main computer since they came out with the unibody design. Got my first one in 2009 and latest one in 2015. I've gotten quite used to the design and can type very quickly and to a high degree of accuracy. It is by far the best designed keyboard I have ever used. That said, I'm struggling to find a desktop keyboard (for my desktop PC) that allows me to easily get used to and type with the same degree of accuracy. I'm typing this from my desktop right now and currently use an AZIO Prism, which is just one of many I've tried. I keep making errors typing because my fingers (muscle memory) want to go to where the keys are on my Mac.

So I'm sure there are people out there who feel the same way. Has anyone found a keyboard that you easily get used to coming from a MacBook Pro?

I've tried the Apple Wireless keyboard (the old model before the Magic Keyboards). They're okay, but I feel like the keys protrude too much. I like the feel of the MacBook Pros more. I have heard people raving about the Magic Keyboard, is it much better.

I do - I felt like it was the most accurate replication of a full MacBook keyboard. Key travel and rebound is very similar, IMO. Battery life is fantastic. But I get that keyboard preference is very subjective

What in particular did you not care for?

OP UPDATE: Picked up the Apple keyboard (the $50 one with a numpad). Tried out the Magic Keyboard, was not impressed. Didn't have a numpad and I had a hard time typing on it. The Apple keyboard is good for me.

Good call if you don't need to be wireless! I don't understand why apple doesn't make a keyboard w/ num pad with a wireless option. (Its why I went w/ Maitas)
