What device did I use these for?

Found these two power adapters in my ever growing box of defunct Apple accessories. I don’t see what forum would be ok to post so I’m asking here. .. Anyone know what devices they were for before I toss them?

These are super old FireWire 400 iPod charging adapters. Sell them on eBay.

If you choose not to sell them on eBay as @Bigwaff suggested, keep in mind that Apple will recycle anything by Apple for free.
