What did I do wrong? user id shut out of iTunes

I recently transferred my music to my new Mac and in so doing, I must have borked my apple id. when I enter my user/pass on the new mac it tells me that this user has been suspended (or similar) due to security reasons.

How would I go about getting my user id turned back 'on' ?

oops - my wife tried to alter my payment info on the other machine....
