DON'T DO IT!
You still have your old MacBook, right?
It will be worth it to have both.

Maybe your new MacBook has the inability to detect the absurd amount of ellipses you have used. ;)

I am worried that you gave up part of your brain when you got rid of your macbook.

It's just a computer.

I am sorry but I had to replay by saying, that I was laughing at that! Add that to the segment that the Simpson's did. LOL!

Now for other business:

I think you got used to looking at your old MacBook that you are not used to looking at your new MacBook, with it's glossy screen. Might be the size of the unit as well, also the size of the keyboard is another thing you are missing. (Aren't the new MacBook smaller?) I know I miss the track pad from my iBook G4. :D

This is the weirdest thread I've seen so far... WHAT?!?

Ya i felt the same way when i sold my laptop that i had had for 5yrs even though i had just bought a new one but i sold the old one so i went back to the guys house that i sold it to and gave him the money he had given me plus $100 to get it back.:apple:

I missed my 12" powerbook when I got my Aluminum MB...for about 3 hours, until the MB's speed, build quality, better screen, etc. etc. made me forget all about it. I haven't looked back. Besides, it's just a computer. It's a tool and a toy. It's not something to get sentimental about.

I really don't see the point of this thread. Do you expect people to reassure you that your feelings are legitimate? There are way too many disillusioned people on this website...

A computer is a machine, not a friend. It does not feel, it does not think, it does not love. It does what you tell it to do.

Get over it. Go outside. Get a human significant other.
