What did you do on Summer Solstice?

Being the longest day, I stayed out until dark on backyard lawnchair and played guitar. Nothing wild, just enjoying what would be the longest daylight day of the year. In the Northern hemisphere this year, every day from now on will get shorter.

I also used to use the after dinner hours to walk and skateboard around town since it was light out, walk the dog, and other activities. When it gets dark in a couple of months right after dinner, I will probably be in watching more tv and reading.

I sat on a plane, squished in the center seat between two people, which was interesting considering it was me who busted ass to check in right away to ensure the best seating possible.

I went to a Summer Solstice party on the night of the 20th. But only about ten of us stayed past midnight. My crowd is not in our 20s anymore, that's for sure.
