The writing for the more dramatic scenes, I agree, was noticeably bad (as with most new shows debuting this fall, such as K-Ville). However, the comedic effect was brilliant, the character development was excellent, and I loved how they closed with "A Comet Appears" by The Shins.

I will continue watching the show and see if the plot develops enough for me to become and avid viewer.

Im watching it right now and it seems OK. Not great, but I'll give it a shot... Im really just wasting time till the Heroes series premier.

I didn't see much wrong with it. Im sure its better then Dancing with the stars.:p

Just wait for Mark Cuban to take the judges by storm...
I bet he will be the first guy to get fined by the judges.:p

Im sure Chuck will get a good rating this week with the lead in to Heroes. Next week should be the test how long it sticks around.

Lol, I hate dancing with the stars.

That was on in the other room. I refuse to watch that.

I just can't wait for my favorite show "House" to start back up.. Now that is a real show!

It wasn't good, it wasn't bad. I can definitely see Josh Schwartz's touches in it, such as the scenic city shots transitioning between scenes, the music, and the lead guy looks exactly like Adam Brody from Schwartz's old show, The OC. (By the way, Rachel Bilson from the OC also has a story arc in it next month.)

I don't write a program off until I've seen two episodes, but it's something that I'll try to catch every now and then.

I read that NBC only ordered thirteen episodes.

you're just mad casue they destroyed a mac pro

which was kinda traumatic

didnt see it but i heard about it, glad i didnt see it i woulda cried:D

Yeah, and when it finally broke, all these tiny glass pieces came out of it.

Now you can breathe, relax, face Cupertino, and pray another five times.

From what I've heard, I sincerely hope we don't get this show aired over here.

Anybody still watching this rather silly show?

OK, maybe I peeked at it last night. And it was worth it for a single line.

The "Buy More" store got a customer call, someone needing help with a Linux system. Chuck asked the other workers if they could go, and one said "No, we're Mac guys. We're I.T. artists!"

Heh. Yeah, I saw that. My family quite enjoys it. Yeah, it's no Heroes, but it's a cute show, with lots of neat geek jokes. I thought episode 2 was better than the pilot.

Its a decent enough show. Yeah, the script/acting -just about everything- could be improved, but at least the idea of the show has some originality. Thank God for that because I just can't sit down and watch the same TV show with just different faces over and over again.
