Hello,
I switched from a Windows notebook to a MacBook Pro 14 with M4 a few days ago. I'm still having problems with scaling. I have an LG Ultrafine screen in 27" with 4K resolution and 60 Hz.
The default setting on the LG in MacOs is 1920x1080, but this makes everything appear far too large. I fluctuate between 2560x1440 and 2304x1296. 2304x1296 seems more suitable to me because the text is not so small.
My questions: What resolution do you recommend for my monitor or what settings do you have for a 27" 4K monitor?
Is there a difference in quality between 2560x1440 (which is often recommended on YouTube) and 2304x1296?
I work a lot with text and a lot with Outlook. Is the font displayed worse/blurrier if I scale to 2560x1440 or 2304x1296 and don't leave it at 1920x1080? I am aware of the loss of performance due to upscaling and then downscaling again, but it is probably not decisive for me because I tend to do light work on the Mac and don't even do any real photo editing.
Best regards
Robert
