Okay in the begining, when Appled ported Quicktime to Windows, they just ported part of the MacOS toolbox to Windows to make everything run, which is on reason old apps that were ported from Mac to Windows required Quicktime. I'm not sure what the current ports of Carbon apps use(Quicktime and iTunes), and now we have Safari, a Cocoa application. Is Apple porting a little bit of their toolkits like they did in the toolkit days, or are they just writing Windows applications with something compleltly differnt that mimics the Mac look?
