What do I do? (OSX 10.6)?

Hi, my friend has a 2009 macbook pro and her hard drive is failing so I got her a SSD drive. I backed up all her files onto the "time machine". Her hardrive failed after and I was able to successfully move everything onto the external hard drive.

I installed her new SSD and had her original installation disk. How do I now put osx snow leopard onto her new SSD? She already purchased it once before but now I don't know how to get it back without her buying it again?...

What do I do? How do I do this???

You need to install Snow Leopard (10.6) from the Install CD (using the built in optical drive) onto the new SSD. Since the SSD is new you will have to "Erase and Install" (erase = format for Mac).

BTW: I do not think the instructions cover this, but another way to boot from the Install CD is to hold the C key down when starting the computer with the CD in the drive.
