Alright I here about people hacking their ipod touch so they can get additional apps for it. What do I have to do and is it worth it. I want to know if its worth losing the apps I get in 1.1.3 because I've heard I have to downgrade for it. So what kind of things can I do with a hacked ipod and do you guys think its worth it?

OMG!!have you read anything on this forum or are you just posting this blindly(sorry for being so rude, but really!!) just look around and you can get the 1.1.3 apps, wiggly icons, and all that 1.1.3 stuff when you jailbreak.

i haven't done it. I have the apps, and the update.

And from what I've read. the newest hack is unstable at best. And downgrading will cause you to lose the 20 dollar apps.

I am waiting for the SDK and the firmware update that will come with that and then see what happens after that.

the hacked apps aren't enticing enough for me to risk the hassle of ***** up my new touch.

But my Ipod is brand new and came on version 1.1.3 so if I don't like what I get can't I just click restore and I'll get it back to version 1.1.3 like when I got it or will it just re-install 1.1.1?

Can you tell me how to get the wiggles feature on a jailbroken 1.1.1? I understand how to add sources and everything, I am no nOOb, thanks.

if you buy the apps and then downgrade, and then go back to 1.1.3, you will still have the apps because iTunes store has a record that you bought them, you just install them again for free.

also, Jailbreaking your touch is the coolest thing ever. there are so many great apps, it turns your ipod into a mini computer.
