So I am rocking a xs max since launch day as well... And honestly it's still absolutely fine. It is still fast and responsive and looks current.

11pro / max for me isn't quite a super upgrade. I will wait till the notch is reduced / removed, 120hz is implemented. Apart from maybe the camera and battery life, the real world "upgrades" personally are not that noticeable.

I also currently have XS Max, I wanted the 12 Pro Max but man is it huge... The Pro is nice but i'd be getting a less than great camera. Not as good as Pro Max. I'm still conflicted

Isn't the 12 Pro Max pretty much the same size as the XS Max?

I have XS Max as well. From launch day. I don’t need all the “Pro” features. BUT I do not want to go to a smaller phone. I’m too used to the big screen. So I’ll be upgrading this year to 12 Pro Max. Just a bummer I can’t get the big screen without the “Pro” features.

I am moving from XS to 12 Pro.

From what I can tell, in terms of actual differences I will notice:

- slightly bigger screen
- slightly better screen
- smaller bezels
- form factor change (love the new design)
- decent camera upgrade
- general speed, should be a bit snappier but nothing crazy

To be honest I am happy with my XS and aren’t as excited about this upgrade as I was hoping, but this year gives me the ability to sell my XS for a reasonable price and get the latest iPhone which has some handy upgrades and a really nice redesign.

X and XS are still great phones.
I still regret trading my X in...

something about that design.. I truly loved that phone..

It's a massive upgrade for you in terms of awe-inspiring new camera capabilities, best-ever iPhone CPU & GPU performance, all-new design, 5G, LiDAR, and revolutionary ceramic glass.
