...make my Macbook Pro a desktop?

I already know I need an External Display, mouse and a Keyboard...

Anything Else?

Thanks for the help!

Oh, does it need to be an apple display or can it be another displays?

Thank you!!!

It can be any display.

You'll need a DVI > whatever adapter, depending the connection for the display is, though. (if your display is already DVI, then you're set to go)

Other than that, nothing else is needed.

You need one of these to put it in so it'll look like a desktop

An Apple Cinema Screen is not required

You may however want to download Insomnia X which prevents your laptop from sleeping when the lid is shut therefore making it more desktop like! However this may have some heating issues although it ran fine on my powerbook like this for a week solid!

You may want a sound cable that goes into your headphone socket to a red and white end to plug into the screen you are using or your hifi (that is assuming you have one or the other!)

Hope this helps!
