Hey guys,

Just got a g4 - installed Tiger on it, and I'm happy. However, it seems a little "laggy" or "jumpy" for lack of better terms. For instance, doing things like moving a column in iTunes or resizing a window are not completely smooth. I am running at 1280x1024, and I'd like to eventually use 2 monitors, so I would assume it can only get worse. The system has 256 of ram, which I plan on upgrading - but would that solve these issues? Or is it more of a graphics card issue? If so, what should I get?

Thanks,
Dan

I believe it's called a "quicksilver"

Its the 867mhz one, if that matters...

Thanks,
Dan

Yeah, get more RAM (aim for 768MB plus) and then if the problem's still there then maybe you just need a faster GPU. Is this your first Mac? :)
