I've had an Iphone 3gs for about a year. I recently (stupidly) upgraded my baseband to a version that cannot be unlocked. I'm curious what most people to after such a problem. I see the following options.

1. Sell the Iphone as a locked phone and repurchase an Iphone that I can unlock and JB.

2. Hold on to the phone and hope that it can be unlocked soon. Who knows when that will be.

any other options?

Call it a life lesson. If my phone depended on being unlocked, I would probably never even sync with iTunes to ensure no "accidents" could ever happen...

hrm, I wonder what happens if I jump off this bridge.....
