What do the mean by" no default application"?

For example, i download the emule. but after that , the instruction writen: there is no default application specified to open the document" emule-installer.exe". what should i do?

umm, an .exe file is a Windows Executable file. It wont run on OSX.

It means that there is no program installed to run your file.

You downloaded a Windows Application that cannot be run in OS X. You must either find a Mac version of the Application or use BootCamp/Parallels/Fusion to run it in Windows.
