hello

i'm trying to jailbreak my iphone, i'm reading something i can't really understand. what do they mean by

"If your iPhone relies on a carrier unlock, DO NOT update to stock iOS x.x.x"

do they mean iphones with turbo sim ? or something else?

Thank you

Jailbreaking is bad, naughty OP!

But to answer your question, if your phone is locked to your carrier, ie you cannot use another networks sim in your phone, then don't do it...turbo sim fyi is another way around a carrier lock.

Simple answer, if you bought your iPhone on contract and you're still on contract chances are your phone is carrier locked.

Thanks for your answer, but what if i do it? will that damage my iphone? or simply it will just n't work and i then need to just restore it?
