I'm having some problems setting up the os and such. I got osx installed but it takes ages to boot up now. Installing windows via boot camp is causing some kind of error.

Some help would be greatly appreciated.

what machine? what ssd? Just need a little info before we can help you.

Hmm... more info is needed.

What model iMac, what model SSD and what version of OSX are you installing?

Also, you say you are getting some errors... what exact errors are you getting?

Besides slow boot time, are you having any other issues? Do programs launch quick, slowly or have errors? Any Internet issues, shut down issues, etc...

As to the Boot Camp problem, what errors for that and when, during the process are you having errors? (During HD partitioning, Windows install or after install -- and what version of Windows?)

Let us know.

First thing I did was check the system profiler to make sure I was at SATA III. Then I did a couple quick tests (AJA or XBench) and everything looked good. As for the files and installations I've been getting through stuff the past couple of days. Today I was messing around with the Home Folder issues
