What do you do on your new MacBook? Inquiring minds want to know.

I don't know about the rest of you, but having a Mac has changed how I do everything. My iMac freed me from Windows, but it was my MacBook that truly changed how I work. Now, my new Aluminum Unibody beauty is never far from my side.

I'm not a photographer or artist but here's the list of what I do with my Macbook:

1. Writing and organizing so I do a lot of things that require Word Processing... I use Pages, Keynote, and Circus Pony's Notebook a lot.
2. Pay my bills (Moneydance is my checkbook)
3. Keep track of all my family photos (stored on my MacBook and MobileMe)
4. Store my entire music library. I have 42.5 GBs
5. I play drums for a couple of bands so I use it to organize the music I need to practice and then send the playlists to my iPods.
6. Of course emailing friends.
7. Online Shopping
8. Use Bento for organizing business contacts and work-related data as well as our home inventory.
9. Started working on notes for a book in Scrivner (just to see if I could do it)
10. Gather and collate all the data for my blogs
11. Keep track of personal and business correspondence
12. Watch movies (also watch online movies on my TV with the MB)
13. Bible Study with Accordance
14. iChat with out-of-town family and friends
and last but not least...
15. Play Scrabble.​

So that's it for me... but how do you use your new (or older) MacBook?

UNIX shell scripting (Mac has a very nice interface for this work)
various other programming
use MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint

Leisure: play BZFlag
web browsing

These computers are great. The availability of free software and support is amazing.

Hmmm for school : word processing some spreadsheet stuff and thats about it.

and in my free time : i design things on photoshop/illustrator/flash. browse the net, listen to my music which i have stored on my iPod, watch movies (80gb or so of them). ermmm thats about all i can think of right now
