you completely disagree with the action of a mod and they stop writing back to you? Suck it up and let it go? Does anyone moderate the moderators?

How many threads do we need on this and how many times does it have to be discussed?

The moderators are overseen by the administrators of the site
Use the Contact Us form and it will go to the administrators for review if you have an issue with moderation

Or better still, get over it and move on

I think the trick is to not get too personally attached.

This is a discussion forum. And in the grand scheme of things, does it make any difference in my life if someone or everyone has a certain opinion of me here???

If a post is removed... how does that affect me?

I’m not here to win a popularity contest. I’m not here to fluff my ego. And while many of us cross paths in here periodically, I don’t really know any of you.

It’s a place to exchange ideas. You shouldn’t hang too much pride on any given post or decision that’s made.

In life you either agree with me, or you don’t. And it’s not going to change my opinion, unless I feel that your point of view had Merritt.

And you can call me every name in the book, or even take a swing at me. Words don’t provoke me. And once the issue is settled, it’s done. You might be regretting the swing you attempted (I don’t swing first, and usually have no need, you’ll be down before you make contact). But otherwise done. I’ve moved on.

I don’t get angry. I handle the moment. What’s already happened was the last moment. This is a new one. The rest sluff off.

Things in a discussion forum have even less effect than nothing.

As per the rules/FAQ, send a contact form. The moderators are instructed not to engage in back-and-forth with users about complaints - that's why we have administrators. It's also stated clearly that the administrators oversee moderation.

The FAQ is full of useful info. ;)
