What do you do with your extra/old iOS Devices?

I hear some ppl say it's better for them to keep their old iPhone 4 or 3GS instead of selling it for such a low price, may as we'll keep it.

Of course on the other side of spectrum there's a ton of ppl who sell to fund the new one they plan on purchasing.

I'm wondering what you do with yours, and if you're in the camp of keeping them and finding positive uses for them, please let me know.

The idea of making your old iphone a picture was cool, as was the person who said they use their camera as a 2nd camera for their bicycling adventures, I was hoping something a little techy. Like indeed setting up an extra iOS device as a home monitoring camera, or control center for certain in home apps.
