$345 seems really steep for an iPad stand. To be honest, I think you're better off making a stand yourself or settling for something cheaper. There seem to be a lot of cool stands out there for quite a bit less.

It does look very nice though!

so you want to buy it for $345. amount is more than the value of your Ipad now. don't you think you need to think twice or better yet don't you think you need to look elsewhere.

LOL. Even for that amount i wouldn't even think about it. I will just keep on holding my mini and pocket the money.

depending on if you are looking for the "look" or functionality. I have backed the project in kickstarter - SETA (it is for the iphone) but one of the rewards they have is a combo of the xflex iPad stand and SETA iphone stand. worth to check it out.

I wouldn't consider this at all but if I had some sort of business where I left iPads out, I would. There's a hotel that lets you check your flight info and such using an iPad. This is the ideal market for those over-priced stands.
