What do you guys think of the iPhone 5's audio output quality

Do you guys notice any audio differences vs 4S. The iPods usually have different sound signatures depending on generation. Keeping everything the same I keep noticing the iPhone 5 sounds "leaner" and less warm than the 4S. Were there any audio hardware changes e.g. DAC?

Saw various other members saying that their 5 isn't as loud or clear as the 4S. Will test out my friends 5 when he gets home, against my 4S. I'll let you know.
