I had some people tell me that the 38mm looks too small on my wrist... Do you guys think I should go for the 42mm or will that look too big?

Looks like you picked the right size to me, seems proportional to your wrist. Maybe they were imagining that it would look like an iPhone strapped to your wrist?

Looks fine to me as well. I got the 38mm too and my wrist is a little larger than yours. Might go with 42 on next version. But you had me checking my wrist wondering if its too small now. lol.

Get the size that you will enjoy the most. If you want the screen real estate like I do, get the 42. I don't care how it looks on my wrist or care what other people think. It may look big on my wrists but too bad. I like it.

145mm wrists here

That's how the 38 looks on my wrist.

When I had my Sport, I got a few comments about it being small - not really in relation to my wrists or how it looked, just the Apple Watch (both 42 and 38), being smaller than pizza sized watches that are in vogue today.

I'm a barely 34 y/o guy and 38 looks great!

Impossible to REALLY tell in photos because the Watch is so deceivingly large in photos. The 42mm is HUGE on me in pics but tiny in person.

I'd say if you're comfortable with the screen real estate though then stick with the 38mm. I'm having issues with button presses on the 42, wish it was ever so slightly bigger still and I don't have large fingers.
