Hello,

I'm sure this poll exists somewhere else, so please first accept my apologies if I'm duplicating a post/poll here. I'd just like to see where the demand will be on 24th June (sorry to those in the countries who have to wait longer).

Fairly simple, choose the option, which best suits how you're feeling right now.

Thanks.

As long as we're using words without understand what they mean, how about calling it the The Sexual "So, wot you gunna buy?" Poll? Or The Pink "So, wot you gunna buy?" Poll.

Sorry, pet peeve of mine. Consider this the official complaint about official threads that aren't official.

Is that better my good friend? :)

What's the difference, in this case, a pre-order and a queue?

A pre-order being upgrading/ordering with your mobile operator and queueing on the day being waiting outside the shop to buy it when it is released.

I was under the impression you could reserve online and then pick it up at the store. That right or do you just have to wait the day of launch at the store?

I'm not aware of such things happening, I'm sure it was not the case with previous releases. I'm fairly sure you had the choice of waiting at the store an risk walking away without the new iPhone (or with an iPhone model you hadn't set your heart on) or pre-ordering online and having it delivered.

No... Last year AND this year you can pre order and get it shipped, OR reserve one for pick up at the apple store. So, I don't know how to answer either because I am reserving one for pickup.

Is that in the UK? I was under the impression that the phone could only be purchased from an Apple store on PAYG, not contract. I'm fairly sure all contract purchases have had to have been carried out at the providers store?

Can I get a "pre-ordering a 32GB black one if the Desire I'm going to pick up later fails to impress me over the next week or so" option? :D

My apologies. I live in the US.
