In this decade we've seen crazy stuff, apple coming back, google being invented, Facebook, texts, the iphone, and a lot, LOT more ..

But what do you predict for the next DECADE ?

Personally, the iCar, image apple making a car ... oooo yeah.

I know it won't be anything near as futuristic as anyone claims...I have seen comic books from the 50s showing people flying around in anti gravity shoes and with hovercars claiming it was the "1980s"....things never change near as much as people imagine.

3000 maybe...2500 even...but 2020 will be almost indistinguishable from now.

- Flying cars
- Floating Houses
- Robots everywhere doing the work we don't want
- Super continents
- Space Elevators
- Cheap vacations to mars

Or not. America can't even get health care reform done, how can we expect any changes?

Toyota Prius will be the single most sold car model in US.

Not a chance....ever. If you want to make a car more efficient and eco friendly fine...but it has to be bigger than a lunchbox for those of us who are not midgets and able to stand an decent impact without crumpling into a ball.

  • All cars will be hybrid and be as fast as fossil fuel vehicles. (2015-2020)
  • Computers will have processor clock speeds up to 10GHz++ (2010-2011)
Apparently that's only what I can think of. Otherwise life will be same as in 2009 but with better technologies.

Obviously, you have never been in Prius. It's not a large sedan, but it is as roomy as Accord or Camry, the two bestselling sedans past decade. Good luck driving Hummer in this economy.

There is a happy medium..I have been in one and I find them uncomfortable. Just like I find typical airline, bus and train seats uncomfortable. I am not a giant but not tiny. I just want more comfort and protection around me than tiny cars offer. I would like to make it out alive when some nutjob or drunk hits me.
