Because the iPhone does so many things, I'm curious what others spend the most time doing on it. Even though it's a phone, I've used it mostly for Email and Safari.

What about you?

Web browsing, checking other information with iPhone Apps, email, playing Untangle Maniac, the calendar. Also studying Japanese Kanji, checking weather, and as a replacement for my Powermac, so I don't have to be sitting at the desk, or in front of the computer, or on my Macbook Air.

I use my iPhone for web browsing mostly. It has reduced the amount of time I actually pic up the mac at home! As for other applications, it depends on what I'm doing - ie travellng, I mostly use the iPod function. Phone and text are always just incidental

Checking email throughout the day while at work is my heaviest use.

I spend most ofmy time with the iphone waiting.

Waiting for it load an app, waiting for it to quit the app, waiting for the keyboard in the SMS app to work, waiting for pages to refresh when I go back into safari to finish reading a web page...

Compared to the Treo 700wx I left behind, I spend an awful lot of time waiting for the iPhone to do whatever it's going to do.

Texting for sure. I send 300-400 on average a day.

300-400 a day!? And that's just SENDING? Do you have time to do anything else? At 10 seconds per text, that's about a solid hour per day of sending texts. What on earth does anyone have to text about that much? I would think a 30 second phone call could relieve about 20 text messages. Whatever...some people just like to text a lot, i guess.

Never underestimate the power of a board teenager. :D It appears e-mail has fallen out of favor for the next generation.

Edit: Oops. No disrespect intended for the power texter.

Edit: Spelled "oops" wrong. Dammit.

Yeah, I know...it's out out of control
Did I mention I am a teenager? That might clear some confusion. :p

Very off topic, but a friend of mine complains to me about how the SMS app on her iPhone always crashes. But then she informed me that her total sent/received texts for the previous month was 20,000. That explained a lot.
