So I'm selling an early 2008 MBP with the 2.5GHz setup, 4 GB of RAM, and Matte screen. It's in great condition, no scratches anywhere. It's also covered by AppleCare and comes with Windows XP Pro, Office 2008 with Exchange support, and VMWare. The battery has 230 cycles and around 83% health. All the software is genuine.

What I'm looking for is some honest feedback on how much the whole thing would be worth. I've got an offer for around $1200 but I feel it could fetch more. What do you think? What would be a fair price?

I'm looking for serious input only so please keep any BS to yourself.

Thanks.

Ok fair enough. Didn't know that it wasn't against the rules. I apologize.

I am being completely sincere in my request for advice however, and a 250 post requirement to use the marketplace seems unfair. But I'm not going to try and bend the rules. Thanks for letting me know.
