What do you think of a protective case for your MacBook Pro?

I was looking at the SPECK protective cases. Are these good? I want to protect it as much but worry about the heat that the laptop emits.

Does anyone have a case or recommendation? OR... if it is a good or bad idea?

I tried them all, Speck/Incase/etc., and they all tend to fall prey to heat buildup.
