So, we're looking for a nice alternative to Apple's smart cover (still one of the best "cases" out there IMO). I like how it is so thin, but I hate how it leaves the back exposed.

Griffin has a new Intellicase (http://store.griffintechnology.com/ipad/intellicase) that looks pretty decent. What do you think of it?

edit: Looks like iPadAccessories.com is running a free giveaway contest for this case here: http://www.ipadaccessories.com/general/win-1-of-5-free-griffin-intellicase-ipad-2-cases/ I guess it can't hurt to enter!

I wouldn't recommend it. I had it for a week but decided to return it.

The front cover is attached to the shell with two thin straps made of the same material as the rest of the cover and looks like it will wear out or tear after a while. Since it's only attached by the two straps, the front cover moves around a lot and will toggle the sleep/wake function when it slides around the screen. It also makes it difficult to slide the cover into the slot at the back of the case for the stand mode.

Speaking of the slot, it scratches both sides of the front cover when you slide it in and take it out. The slot is also an opening for dirt or dust to enter the inside of the shell.
