What do you think of the music quaility compared to 3G(S)?

When listeing to music using headphones how does it compare? I don't have a previous iPhone to compare.

It sounded to me like it might be a little crisper and cleaner, but it's hard to tell for sure. At any rate, it was the same or possibly a teeny bit better. Definitely wasn't worse.

I felt the same way listening to it in my car via the dock connector. I definitely wasn't looking for it, I just noticed randomly.

Same on mine.

I think it has more to do with encoding than hardware playback.

Agreed. Especially since the new iPhone is more compact. Either way, it could also be slightly improved electronics/connections.

It is crisper and cleaner that the 3GS through decent headphones.The ipad is IMO slightly smoother sounding than iphone 4 through headphones
