What do you think of the "new macbook pro"?

Looks thinner... but I prefer the 2011 aluminium´s.
This one looks like a macbook black, thinner and probably lighter, no dvd.
If this is true... what´s the point of making it look like a MBA?

It's not true. There's tons of mock ups out there. That was posted before the recent refresh anyway.

pure speculation though. it looks like a mac in the ad but it could just be some designer that came up with a mac-inspired nondescript laptop image.

The "new" macbook pro that people thought that that could have been was the one that was just recently released back in late February. This article was written before that came out so this theory has been debunked.

Also there is no way that it would be the next macbook pro because there's no way that intel would already have a model of it several months before it's release.

It would more likely be representative of the recently released Samsung 9 Series.
