I'm trying to get a 64 gb iphone 5s but this is... cheap...I wonder what "like new" is like

This isn't the price of the phone by itself or contract free. You pay $249 on top of having to go with the 2-year contract. But for "like new" most likely it is used or refurbished but with no scratches or anything.

Subsidized price is always included when you have a contract with AT&T. so you will pay for a phone. It beats the $400 dollars tho...
