What do you think is the percentage break down for the various versions of the Apple Watch?

My guess is something like 90% aluminum, 8% stainless steel (both SB & plain steel), 1% Hermès (the actual ones with Hermès faces), and 1% ceramic (both white and gray).

If I had to guess, I'd say Stainless Steel models were a little higher compared to the aluminium, perhaps 15%.

Doing some very unscientific research looking at the type of used Apple Watches on eBay, the data suggests 70% are aluminium, 25% are steel, 0.6% ceramic, and the others seemed to be mislabelled (don't recall a 'plastic' Apple Watch...).

Interestingly enough, I was at a retailer yesterday and I asked about the stainless Apple Watch if they had one in stock. And the representative told me that they were changing the policy that they don't even carry the stainless model in stock anymore, because the aluminum models are so popular and more in demand. They said if someone wanted the stainless model, they would order it, being the demand is minimal due to the price point.

Granted, that's just one retailer, but at least it's somewhat of a metric to show you the consumer wants likely the cheapest option, because it is disposable tech and the difference of the aluminum model compared to the stainless model is a fairly significant difference in price point.
