What do you think the chances are of a new MB before August?

Odds are pretty good. According to the Buyer's Guide, they are updated about every 6 months and the last was in Feb, so July or August look a good bet.
I think the chances are pretty good. Maybe I am being really hopeful of the upgrade because I am going to buy a macbook before school starts, but the average time between each Macbook update is a little under 6 months. So, its probably going to be around September. But, because they are changing the whole design, it might take a little longer. But I don't see any later than Christmas though because that's the best time to release any anticipated new product.
