Safari is muuuuch better and I haven't had a crash or a snail stop yet.

Having said that, the iPhone is the best handheld multimedia device out there, but it is the absolute worst phone I have ever had. It drops calls like none other!

My phone drops calls in a much snappier fashion.

Mine works fine. I usually had a few dropped calls through AT&T on other phones, so I'm not complaining. It's not enough to bug me.

I think I agree. :p

Lol. Have u used EVERY handheld multimedia device out there? ;)
That's why IMO, the iPhone is really an iTouch with calling ability. I wouldnt call it a phone and I didn't buy it as a phone. I wanted an iTouch and the iPhone was cheaper.

Have you found a better one? I have used quite a few and none come close to the iPhone, especially since the launch of the app store.

I wish I had the privilege or luxury to try many of them. Then I could give my opinion and compare them to each other. Unfortunately, all I have to go with is my experience with the iPhone and a regular phone as well as what people tell me or what I read.

I understand the BB Bold or Curve is the choice for most business people while for regular people, the Nokia N95 is quite desirable.

Being able to stream podcasts OTA and multitask to other apps while they play just like the MobileiPod.app.

Stability.

I wasn't expecting much from this update, and was a little pissed that they actually called it a .2 update, but the overall stability is AWESOME.

Kind of sad that I lost all my jailbreak apps, but it was definitely worth it. I'll probably have those back in a couple of days anyway...

what's an iTouch?

I'm happy the speed of the UI is much improved. 2.1 was sooooo slow. In very pleased with this update.

As with all new updates, the speed is initially improved then suffers later as time goes on.

Yeah, I was excited at first too. Immediately after updated everything was lightening fast. It has already started to diminish after 4.25 hours of use and 20 hours of stand-by. :(

I'm hoping that's not the case. 1.0 on my old iPhone was a ton faster than 2.0 or 2.1. It's my only real complaint about the iPhone.

As someone who has owned a treo 600, a treo 680, t-mobile dash, bb curve, believe me iphone is the best combination of phone, internet device, music, and organizer. Not perfect for sure, but the best so far.
