Hello all,

I was cleaning my MBP tonight and I wondered what others were using to clean their notebooks with?

I count four separate items on these notebooks: Screen, Keyboard, Trackpad, and the Case.

I use iKlear for the screen and case with a microfiber cloth.

I use a Nice and Klear for the keyboard and trackpad which came with a special microfiber cloth (I have no idea what makes it special).

It all seems to work pretty well but I would love to hear what others are using.

Cheers!

If things get really crusty, use a Mr. Clean magic eraser. They work wonders on stains and other dingyness :D

For light things, use water and paper towels.

Damp cloth for outside and screen. If I am feeling adventurous I use iKleer, only because I got a bottle on clearance for a couple bucks.

a couple sprays of glasses/lens cleaning solution (walmart vision center) on a micro-fiber lens cloth (same place - I like the ones from 3M). One half with sprays for cleaning, the other half dry for drying. 30 years of computer use and no problems. Yes, I'm old.
