For example when im running Vista my cpu is heating 85-90C. I just want to see whats out there for cooling.

A small quasi-hepa air purifier. Helps keep the dust down, and has 3 fan levels, so I can decide how much air to move.

I also typically keep the machine elevated across 2 small shelves...so there is plenty of airspace...(also helps with line of sight)

I just make sure that the vents are not blocked and that the service is solid and allow for heat to dissipate (i.e. desk).

Don't think there is a need for any special setup unless the room itself is already hot outside the operating parameters of the system.

I use a stapler... works very well it just holds it up off my desk allowing the air to flow through when it gets real warm i position a powerfull fan to blow air past the air vents:)

I blow it real hard.

Or I'll stick a fan in front of it if it heats up too much (this was actually what I did with my PowerBook).
