What do you use your multitouch for? I use mine for:

•Scrolling on web pages, documents and finder windows.

•Going back and foward in Firefox instead of using the back and foward buttons.

•Going back and foward in Finder windows.

•Rolling windows up ;-)

•Going to the top or bottom of a webpage or document.

What about you guys?

I, and many others, use BetterTouchTool to make my own gestures, like you can see here.

It's mostly for Safari and Finder, but I plan to implement more of them into Photoshop.

Multitouch has completely streamlined how I browse the internet. With all the swipes and scrolling i feel like I'm conducting and not even surfing.:)

I use

2 finger tap for right click.

2 finger up/down for scroll.

3 finger swipe for back and forwards in Finder, Safari and Fm 2010 (using BTT).

3 finger swipe up for spaces (BTT).

3 finger swipe down for the Dashboard.

3 finger tap for continue in FM 2010 (BTT).

4 finger swipe for expose

4 finger tap for return in FM2010 (BTT).

Going to look at adding more. The functionality of the trackpad is one of the things I love most about the MBP.

all of that + pinch to zoom for PDF files (I use an online science textbook)

For navigating between spaces I used BetterTouchTool to set 3-finger swipes equivalent to ctrl+arrow.

As a recent Windows convert, I still need to learn and get used to all of these uses. The only thing I really take advantage of so far is inertial scrolling because it is amazing, but I know I am only scratching the surface of what multitouch can do.

I use every feature of the multi-touch trackpad on my Macbook Pro. Ironically when I pick up a Windows notebook I can't stand the fact that I can't do the multi-touch functions. I find myself doing swipes and realize they won't work. Now it really sucks using Windows. ;)
