So i have my new iMac aluminum with 10.4 with like 150gigs of documents/music/videos/photos/apps etc and i want leopard

so i ordered it..

What will upgrade do to my computer and files?

and what will archieve do to my files and computer?

please explain in lots of detail..i dont understand!
