I'm moving outside the city where I think I can get 3G service, according to AT&T's map. I really don't want to overpay or double pay for stuff, like getting a worthless landline that I would never use.
Since some of you seem to know more about tethering than I do, do you think a $30/month tethering plan would be possible for primary Internet use? I'm figuring no since i download plenty of music on iTunes and use Netflix streaming. If it's still the same 5GB limit (for "unlimited"), that would easily be used in a month.
I'm using 6.0Mbps DSL right now, and it's quite awesome. I can probably live with 1.5Mbps because Netflix and Hulu are my top uses, and I am not really a heavy user of either. But AT&T charges an extra $5 for their DSL plans (it would be $38 for 1.5). I'm going to push them on "yes, I do have a voice line. It's called the $115 I'm giving you for three phone lines. Cut me a deal, yo."
So basically I'd love any feedback.
