I can't tell any difference, so I'm wondering if it only makes a change in certain places (like dynamic text).

Can you notice any differences with this setting turned on?

I think it makes text bolder in certain apps, like Notes, Messages and Reminders. It only affects user inputted text, not UI text.

That's bold text. He's talking about the option "Increase Contrast". There are two options, "Bold Text" and "Increase Contrast".

Well, turn on the bold text, then turn on the increase contrast, and it feels like the bold text gets even bolder.

I really wish I knew what increase contrast does. I don't like the look of bold text, since it makes everything way too bold, but I wish there was a way to make the keyboard keys bolder.
