Hey everyone,

So I just bought an ipod touch 32gb, which is on it's way to my house. I noticed that it says "Nike + iPod support built in" on the apple webpage. does this mean i can use the nike+ stuff without using the extra piece that goes into my shoe? like does this do all that while being in my pocket? Or do i need to buy some extra part?

quick!

wow you guys are fast! Thanks for the help. I just watched the video at nikeplus.com. this looks pretty cool!

It means that you can also plug that device into a workout machine (like an elliptical machine) and track your workout via the Nike+ web site. On a machine like that, the sensor is not needed and actually can't be used as there is no impact to cause the sensor to operate. I use it to track my workouts.
