I thought Stumbler might do what AirStumbler etc do and automatically connect my iPod to any unsecured (or known secured) WiFi networks it found, but all it seems to do is show me a few more details about what networks it can see - which is surely nothing that the built in WiFi panel in 'Settings' does?

Are there bigger plans for Stumbler?

ummm...i'm pretty sure that iStumbler will auto-join open networks as I was using it this summer while on the road. i don't have my macbook in front on me right now, but i'll confirm it when i get home.
