All,

My Network Hardware professor has challenged the class into finding the name to this acronym: iSLIP.

Since it has that lowercase i in it, I thought you all might know!

Here are two of my guesses, and please tell me if I'm right, wrong, and if I am wrong, provide a guess of your own!

Guess 1: Ingress Short Latency Interface Pattern
Guess 2: International Symposium on Languages for Intensional Programming

Thanks for any input!

Looked it up, you're probably not gonna get it. You're really close on the second one though.

All,

My Network Hardware professor has challenged the class into finding the name to this acronym: iSLIP. ...

SLIP = Serial Line Internet Protocol, a mostly obsolete encapsulation of the Internet Protocol designed to work over serial ports and modem connections. It is documented in RFC 1055.

CSLIP = Compressed SLIP

iSLIP = ???
